Toyo India Takes Flight with M11 Industries’ New SAF Project

In a major stride for India’s clean energy transition, Toyo Engineering India has been awarded the Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) contract for M11 Industries’ sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) facility in Mangalore, Karnataka.

The upcoming plant will leverage Topsoe’s advanced HydroFlex™ technology to convert renewable feedstocks into high-quality SAF via the Hydroprocessed Esters and Fatty Acids (HEFA) pathway. Under the contract, Toyo India will establish the critical engineering framework, technical specifications, and execution roadmap required to transition the project into detailed engineering and construction. This milestone not only highlights Toyo India’s growing footprint in low-carbon and biofuel infrastructure but also directly supports the aviation sector's long-term decarbonization and domestic sustainability goals.
